Clinical Research Data Sharing Repository

The aim of the repository is to support clinical researchers in sharing their data, enabling patient-level data re-analysis and meta-analysis, in compliance with EU legislation.

The repository is a collaboration between the European Clinical Research Infrastruture Network (ECRIN) and the Service for Sensitive Data (TSD) of the University of Oslo.

ECRIN manages the storage of metadata relative to clinical research, so to allow findability and eventual accessibility to clinical research data. UiO operates the secure environment (Trusted Research Environment, TRE) where sensitive data is stored for secondary use. It also enables the secure transfer of the data from the data provider to its TRE called TSD.

In this documentation we will describe briefly the two main components of the repository, that is its management system and its secure environment for the storing of sensitive data.
