How to register with TSD secure environment

After registering with LS-aai and logging in the repository, you can also request access to the secure environment at TDS.

The repository manager will request for you an account in the secure environment, providing your name, email and LS identifier.

You will be contacted by TSD with your assigned username, password and uri_otp, which will contain the secret code you need in the procedure to authenticate yourself. To do so you need to follow the steps below.

  1. install the google authenticator on your phone

  2. Open google authenticator and add new account: you will be requested the username and the ‘secret code’ received from TSD

The secret code is the uppercase alphanumerical string in your otp_uri, for example in

otp_uri otpauth://totp/TSD:p1325-sergio@tsd.usit.no?secret=THISISJUSTAFAKEID7UUTC6TVDORYSEQ&issuer=TSD

the secret code is THISISJUSTAFAKEID7UUTC6TVDORYSEQ

  1. Click for example export: you will be directed to the login page

  2. Enter the username/password given to you by TSD

  3. On your phone, go your google authenticator application and read the 6 number code that your account is generating at the moment (note they don’t last long!)

  4. Add the code to the login form of step 5

You are now succesfully registered. To access your secure directory, just go to https://view.tsd.usit.no/portal/webclient/#/home and login. You will be required a current OTP code that you will get as described in step 6 above.
